HoR meeting: Rule suspended after many MPs wanted to question PM

KATHMANDU, May 18: According to Rule 252 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079, the proposal regarding the suspension of the rules has been unanimously passed.


In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Speaker Devraj Ghimire said that the proposal regarding the suspension of the rules put forward by the MP Ramesh Lekhak as per Rule 252 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079 was unanimously passed.

According to the proposal, more than 15 members can ask questions in today's meeting of the assembly. This provision was made in the rules because more than 15 members would not be able to ask questions in time. The rule was suspended after many MPs wanted to ask questions to the Prime Minister in today's meeting. The proposal was supported by MPs Mahesh Bartaula and Santosh Pariyar.
