KATHMANDU, July 25: The House of Representatives (HoR) has passed the 'prison management bill, 2076'. Home Minister Balkrishna Khand had presented a proposal seeking the endorsement of the bill received from the Parliamentary Committee on State Affairs and Good Governance along with a report.
Discussion on the bill followed the proposal made for its endorsement. In the second meeting of the HoR, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota announced the unanimous endorsement of the bill.

The first meeting of the HoR was, however, postponed for 15 minutes as it failed to secure the required quorum.
Home Minister Khand furnished responses to the queries raised by the lawmakers on the prison management bill in the meeting.
