Hotel management study in Nepalgunj

KOHALPUR, March 28: Soaltee Pvt Ltd that has been running colleges in Kathmandu, Itahari, Bandipur and Pokhara has now established Gate Vocational Western Technical College in Nepalgunj.


The college is offering a wide range of hotel management subjects including cooking, hospitality, room service, bakery, and many other subjects, said the officials.

Director of the Gate Vocational, Bibek Paudel stated that students of this college will easily get job in hotels within Nepal and abroad. “All students will be employed in six months to one year after they start studying at our college” said Paudel. 


Soaltee Hotel is near to this college so student’s practical classes can be conducted in college’s lab or in Soaltee Hotel.  Students can apply for this college in January and July. 


Though there are lots of hotel management collages in the western region, there is a lack of skilled human resource. Pramila Suru, first batch student of diploma in Gate Vocational said that she got every knowledge about cooking, cleaning and bakery. She said, she is now confident to be a cook at a hotel.
