KATHMANDU, March 16: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has addressed a meeting of the Federal Parliament on Friday.


Taking special time in the House, PM Oli expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of those who lost their lives in the US-Bangla plane crash that took place on March 12 and wished speedy recovery to those undergoing treatment at various hospitals.

“I am standing at the rostrum with heavy heart. It was a heart-rending accident that took place on March 12, killing 51 people on board the US-Bangla plane."


“Nepal and Bangladesh are in grief.  I would like to express sorrow and slimier feelings with the families of the deceased and wish speedy recovery to those who are undergoing treatment at various hospitals,” said PM Oli.  


Meanwhile, the Parliament also passed a condolence motion and observed a minute of silence over the demise of 51 people.
