KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Tuesday mourned the demise of Nepa Rastriya Party leader and former lawmaker Buddharatna Manandhar.
The House also endorsed a condolence motion on Manandhar’s demise and slated the next meeting for 3 pm tomorrow.
Manandhar passed away yesterday evening at the age of 73 years at the Jawalakhel-based Alka Hospital. He was rushed to the hospital following complications in his liver and kidneys.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter and a son.
