According to Paudel, the demolition of the house will start next week. Excavator is being procured from Hebi Equipment Division office Hetauda. He said, "Today we will discuss with the chief district officer and start demolishing the houses from next week."

He said that since the road will be widened by 50 meters, the structures inside it will be demolished. Earlier, he said that he had given time of 35 days and 15 days before issuing the notice.

The owners of the houses have been saying that they should find an alternative solution, saying that they should not be forced to demolish as the map was passed in the then Bharatpur Municipality.
