HR activist Ghimire bags Gandhi Nobel Peace Award

KATHMANDU, March 6: Youth human right activist and advocate Ganesh Prasad Ghimire has bagged Gandhi Noble Peace Award-2022.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Youth human right activist and advocate Ganesh Prasad Ghimire has bagged Gandhi Noble Peace Award-2022. 


According to Advisor of Gandhi Peace Foundation-Nepal Dr Lal Bahadur Rana, a total of 104 human rights activists from across the globe are receiving Gandhi Nobel Peace Award-2022 this year. The Award will be handed over to the winners amidst a special function to be held in UK.

Individuals who are able to make distinct contribution in the field of human rights, peace and social, economic and political transformation through non-violent means are awarded with the Gandhi Noble Peace Award. The awarded will be handed over to the recipients amidst a special function to be held at South Hall of World Hindu Centre in UK on June 3.
