I do not want to show activism, I am worried about parliament obstruction: President Paudel

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: President Ramchandra Paudel has said that he is not trying to show activism, mentioning that he is worried about the ongoing obstruction in parliament.

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: President Ramchandra Paudel has said that he is not trying to show activism, mentioning that he is worried about the ongoing obstruction in parliament.


Paudel, who invited the leaders of the political parties represented in the Federal Parliament to Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday morning, gave a written opinion and expressed that he as the President is only using the rights provided by the constitution to uphold the constitution, protect it and promote national unity.

Targeting the fact that the opposition CPN-UML boycotted the meeting held at Sheetal Niwas, he stated, “I am not trying to show activism. I am also a cadre who suffered a lot for democracy. So this is my concern for the nation.”
