KATHMANDU, NOV 23: Chinese ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong has said that she will leave no stone unturned to further bolster ties between Nepal and China.
Speaking at a special program organized on the occasion of assuming her office formally, Yu said Nepal and China have been enjoying a very cordial relationship, with both the countries sharing similar kinds of geographical features.
She further said that Nepal and China have been maintaining their friendly ties based on mutual interest and cooperation since they established diplomatic ties in 1955.

“Our relationship is stable and strong. China is always ready to assist Nepal in its national independence, sovereignty and regional integrity,” said Yu.
Meanwhile, she further said that China has highly appreciated Nepal’s commitment toward one China policy.
Recalling the Nepal-China Comprehensive Cooperative Partnership (CCP) deal signed by the leaders of the two countries in 2009, Yu affirmed that this bilateral deal will never wear down.
The meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal held in Goa recently has taken the Nepal-China ties to a new height, said Yu.
Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi, ministers, chiefs of constitutional bodies, heads of diplomatic missions, high-ranking government officials, industrialists and journalists were present at the program.
