KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The newly-appointed chief minister (CM) of Bagmati Province, Shalikram Jamkattel, has said that the number of ministries is going to be reduced in the province.
Talking to media persons after taking the oath of office and secrecy on Tuesday morning, CM Jamkattel said that he is going to reduce the number of ministries as there have been complaints about the excessive number of ministries in the province.

Jamkattel also took office as the CM of the province from today. Chief Minister Jamkattel said that a 5-member committee has been formed under the coordination of the province’s Chief Secretary Mukunda Prasad Niraula to determine the number of ministries and the committee will give a report within 15 days.
