I will spend my salary to rescue people affected by natural calamities: MP Bajgain

KATHMANDU, Dec 22: The newly-elected Member of Parliament (MP) Rajendra Bajgain, who won the elections from Gorkha-1, has announced that he will spend his salary to rescue people affected by natural calamities.

KATHMANDU, Dec 22: The newly-elected Member of Parliament (MP) Rajendra Bajgain, who won the elections from Gorkha-1, has announced that he will spend his salary to rescue people affected by natural calamities.


After taking the oath of office and secrecy as a lawmaker on Thursday, Bajgain said that he will spend the salary and allowances he will receive as an MP on rescuing the common people affected by natural calamities.

He said, "Today, I took oath as an MP, but I have already taken an oath to serve the citizens and as a continuation of this, I have announced that the salary or allowances that I will receive as an MP will be spent on all the victims of the disaster in Gorkha-1."
