ICA hosts ‘Bharat Mahotsav’ on 70th Indian Independence Day

KATHMANDAU, Aug 11: The Indian Citizens' Association (ICA) of Nepal, a union of resident Indian citizens living in Nepal,  in association with the Embassy of India, Kathmandu has hosted a cultural-dance-food festival 'Bharat Mahotsav' to celebrate 70 years of India's Independence on Saturday.

KATHMANDAU, Aug 11: The Indian Citizens' Association (ICA) of Nepal, a union of resident Indian citizens living in Nepal,  in association with the Embassy of India, Kathmandu has hosted a cultural-dance-food festival 'Bharat Mahotsav' to celebrate 70 years of India's Independence on Saturday.


The cultural program called ‘Barata Mahotsav’ was organized on the premises of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu from 11 am onwards.

The program was inaugurated by the Ambassador of India to Nepal Shri Manjeev Puri.


A 30 member Kinkini dance troupe from Kolkata, India along with the students from DAV School entertained the participants with their performance in the program.


Besides, students of Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Kathmandu set off an exhibition stall.
