Prime Minister Deuba said that he needs to win the post of party president as some people are talking about morality in the case of losing the election. “People will raise the question of how I can be Prime Minister if I lose the election of the party's presidency. Thus, winning the election is a must,” he said. He also said that he had succeeded in becoming the Prime Minister by removing KP Sharma Oli and that he would form a government from the local level to the central level with all the parties as soon as he won the party presidency.

Similarly, he also expressed his commitment to fulfill the demands of all and to make the party of all and not of any individual, if he wins the election.
