If sugar mills come into operation, I will transfer ownership of my house to govt: MP Srivastava

KATHMANDU, June 1: Democratic Socialist Party lawmaker Bimal Prasad Srivastava has announced that if the state-owned sugar mills in Birgunj come into operation within the next fiscal year, he will transfer the ownership of his house to the government.

KATHMANDU, June 1: Democratic Socialist Party lawmaker Bimal Prasad Srivastava has announced that if the state-owned sugar mills in Birgunj come into operation within the next fiscal year, he will transfer the ownership of his house to the government.

Member of Parliament (MP) Srivastava made the remarks while speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday. Saying that he welcomes the announcement in the budget to run the state-owned agricultural tools factories and sugar mills, MP Srivastava, however, declared that he will transfer the ownership of his house to the government, if an agricultural tools factory and a sugar mill is set up in Birgunj within the next fiscal year.


He said that MPs belonging to the ruling party were dissatisfied with the budget for the coming fiscal year.
