HELAMBU, July 28: Helambu, originally known as Hyolmo in native language of the people living in the region, is not only home to some ten to fifteen thousand Hyolmo people believed to have migrated from Tibet but also a beautiful tourist destination which comes under the Langtang and Helambu Trek circuit; the third most explored trekking route in Nepal.
Located in the northern part of Sindhupalchowk district, only about 80 km away from the Kathmandu Valley, the majestic mountain ranges, beautiful hills and the unique culture and diverse way of life await to be explored.
