KATHMANDU, Jan 22: In a show of strength, the Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal led-faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is staging a mass gathering in Kathmandu, demanding the restoration of the dissolved parliament on Friday.
The party has claimed to bring in as many as 100,000 cadres to the gathering.
The cadres close to the Dahal-Nepal faction took to the streets early this morning. Their marches and rallies then converted into a huge gathering at Bhrikutimandap, the exhibition road.

Following the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR), the Dahal-Nepal faction has been staging protests and demonstrations demanding the reinstatement of the HoR.
