KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Nepal Army (NA) observed the Maha Shivaratri and Army Day-2079 BS at the Army Pavilion, Tudikhel.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and President Bidhya Devi Bhandari paid homage to the martyrs.

Firing from rifles and cannons, march past, military skills and drills were demonstrated by the Nepali Army. The signifying banner of Army Day 2079 BS and showering of flowers were displayed by the helicopters of NA personnel.
Every year, the NA observes the 'Army Day' on the auspicious occasion of ‘Maha Shivaratri’.
