KATHMANDU, May 10: The Kailali border crossing will be temporarily closed throughout the Lok Sabha elections in India from today evening.
Shiva Raj Joshi, Administrative Officer at the District Administration Office, Kailali, said that the border crossing will be closed from 6PM on Friday for the elections to be held on May 13 in the Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Joshi said that the border crossing will remain closed until the voting process is completed.
Border crossings are closed 72 hours before the elections in Nepal and India.
