KATHMANDU, Aug 11: India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning for a two-day official visit, following an invitation from Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.

He was welcomed by Nepali Foreign Secretary Lamasal at the VIP terminal of the Tribhuvan International Airport.
The visit highlights India’s commitment to its relationship with Nepal, a key element of its Neighborhood First policy, as stated by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu. During the visit, discussions are expected to center on advancing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation, building on recent high-level exchanges.
