KATHMANDU, March 28: Visiting Foreign Secretary of India, Vijay Gokhale, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the latter's official residence, Baluwatar, on Thursday.
On the occasion, they discussed Nepal-India relations and bilateral trade, said PM Oli's Foreign Affairs Advisor, Dr Rajan Bhattarai.

Meanwhile, Indian Foreign Secretary Gokhale also met with Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali. On occasion, matters of mutual interests were discussed.
Earlier today, a bilateral discussion was held between foreign secretaries of both countries. They discussed different aspects of Nepal-India relations
Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi told that the two Foreign Secretaries reviewed the status of implementation of various projects including those pertaining to agriculture, connectivity, railway, waterways and other infrastructures.
While expressing satisfaction on the progress made in many areas of cooperation in the past one year, both sides agreed to expedite progress on early resolution of pending issues. It may be recalled that Foreign Secretaries of Nepal and India have also been following up on the matters agreed during the high-level visits through video conference.
The Indian Foreign Secretary Gokhale, who arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday morning, is scheduled to return to New Delhi tomorrow. RSS
