Indian national held on charge of killing daughter and wife

HETAUDA, Dec 16: The District Police Office (DPO), Hetauda, has arrested a 25-year-old Indian national in connection with the murder of his daughter and wife some two weeks ago.

HETAUDA, Dec 16: The District Police Office (DPO), Hetauda, has arrested a 25-year-old Indian national in connection with the murder of his daughter and wife some two weeks ago. 


Mohammad Ramjan Miya Darji, original from the Bihar State of India and temporarily residing in Hetauda, was arrested and made public today.

Organizing a press conference, DPO Makawanpur's Superintendent of Police (SP) Buddhiraj Gurung said that Ramjan has admitted of killing his 25-year-old wife Lalmun Khatun and one-year-old daughter. 


SP Gurung said that Ramjan confessed to killing his wife for alleged adultery and the infant daughter at Ratu River at Newaripani at Hetauda-19 on December 4. 


Police retrieved the dead bodies the other day and launched an investigation into the case which concluded that Ramjan had killed his wife and daughter. 


The accomplice Arman, Ramjan's brother, has been absconding while police are searching for him. RSS
