KATHMANDU, May 11: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day official visit to Nepal, has paid a call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at her official residence in Sheetal Niwas on Friday evening.
Earlier, Modi paid a visit to Nanda Bahadur Pun.

Modi was conferred a guard of honor at the Nepali Army Pavilion, Tundikhel. Modi who embarked on his two-day official visit to Nepal from Patna offered a special puja at Janaki Temple this morning before he arrived in Kathmandu.
Modi and Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli jointly inaugurated Janakpur-Ayodhya-Janakpur bus service at a program organized in Janakpur. Modi also received civic felicitation on the occasion. On Saturday morning, Modi will leave for Jomsom where he will pay homage to Muktinath Temple.
