KATHMANDU, April 29: The Kathmandu Valley has been witnessing a scary growth in the number of new cases of COVID-19 in the past few weeks.
According to the data provided by the health ministry, as many as 16,553 people were diagnosed with the disease in the Valley alone between April 11 and 29. Of them, the highest number of cases were confirmed in Kathmandu district (12,814) followed by 2,444 cases in Lalitpur and 1,295 in Bhaktapur districts.
