An investigative report in The New York Times claims that Donald Trump's businesses experienced staggering losses of $1.17 billion between 1985 and 1994. The information is based on printouts from Trump's official IRS tax transcripts and represent the best-available look at the president's taxes which he has refused to make public. The New York Times had previously published a slightly lower overview of Trump's declared and adjusted gross income in the decade from 1985 to 1995. By 1995, he reported losses to the tune of $916 million.
