KATHMANDU, Nov 16: A prisoner in Sindhuli Jail has died.
Bimal Thapa, 30, of Dudhauli Municipality-10 has died, according to DSP Chiranjeevi Dahal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Sindhuli.

DSP Dahal said that Thapa, who had dinner and slept after celebrating Tihar in the jail on Wednesday night, was found unconscious at 3 AM on Thursday.
According to DSP Dahal, he was taken to Sindhuli District Hospital after being found in an unconscious state. However, the doctors declared him dead.
The cause of Bimal's death has not been revealed. His body has been kept at the district hospital for a post-mortem. DSP Dahal said that further investigation will be conducted after the post-mortem.
The deceased Thapa was in prison since October 4 for preliminary investigation.
