Integrated security policy ready'

HETAUDA, April 19: Minister of State for Home Affairs, Indra Bahadur Baniya has said the Madhes-centric parties should give up obstinacy and egotism and utilize the local level election that directly concerns the people. 


Addressing two separate local level election-related programs organized by the Nepali Congress in Hetauda today, Minister of State Baniya urged the people to participate in the local election without any fear for the development of their locality.

Also today, Minister of State Baniya inspected the Central Region Police Office and directed the security personnel to beef up security for the election. 


On the occasion, Deputy Inspector General of Police Ganesh KC said integrated security policy has been prepared with the objective of providing security during the election by identifying the sensitive polling centres in the 16 districts of the Central Region except Kathmandu Valley. He said the security personnel would be mobilized under the integrated command four days before going to the polls. RSS
