KATHMANDU, July 17: Conflict victims in Nepal have appealed to the authorities concerned to ensure justice to the victims of the decade-long armed conflict.

Issuing a statement to commemorate International Criminal Justice Day on Sunday, Conflict Victims’ Common Platform has asked the government to amend the acts on Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons at the earliest.


The group has also demanded introduction of retroactive laws related to enforced disappearance, torture, murder of civilian, and sexual crimes among others.
