Investing in the share market instead of manufacturing is a developed form of imperialism: Dahal

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the investment of capital in the share market that should have been invested in the industrial sector is a developed form of imperialism.

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the investment of capital in the share market that should have been invested in the industrial sector is a developed form of imperialism. 


Inaugurating the provincial convention of CPN (Maoist Center) in all provinces at once, Chairman Dahal said that the decrease in investment in the industrial sector and increase in investment in the share market is a developed form of imperialism.

Stating that monopoly capitalism and revisionism are being combined and monopoly capitalism is becoming globalized capitalism, Chairman Dahal said that he plans to include the issue of share market in the party’s documents. 


Referring to the share market, Chairman Dahal said that in the past, capital was invested in industry and manufacturing, but now it is invested in shares or in the secondary market. He said that capital is being invested in securities, exchange markets, IMF, World Bank and Asian banks all over the world, including in Nepal.


Furthermore, Chairman Dahal stressed the need for study, research and analysis of the growing investment in the share market as investments in the sector are increasing worldwide. He said that it was the responsibility of the Maoists to find a way to fight against such malpractices.
