Ireland's Upper House Chair calls on President Paudel

KATHMANDU, Jan 11:  Chairperson of the Upper House of Ireland, Jerry Buttimer, had a courtesy meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel.

KATHMANDU, Jan 11:  Chairperson of the Upper House of Ireland, Jerry Buttimer, had a courtesy meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel.


In the meeting held today at Sheetal Niwas, President Paudel said that the current government's priority is sustainable economic development and that the Nepali people are confident that it will contribute to the institutionalization of democracy, inclusion and federalism.

According to the Office of the President, President Paudel emphasized that the friendly relations between Nepal and Ireland should be further strengthened by cooperating on matters of mutual interest in bilateral, regional and multilateral areas.
