KATHMANDU, June 16: The Embassy of Israel to Nepal on Tuesday provided medical support to combat the COVID-19 infection in Nepal on Tuesday.
Benny Omer, ambassador of Israel to Nepal amid a function at the Ministry of Health and Population, handed over the medical supplies to Minister of Health and Population, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.
Three-day medical expo kicks off in capital
According to a press statement by the Embassy, 550 Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), 10,000 masks, 50 infrared digital thermometers and 5,000 pairs of surgical gloves, hand sanitizers, hand sprayers and disinfectant solutions were handed over.
Minister Dhakal on his part thanked the Government of Israel for solidarity and support.
The Embassy of Israel has also extended wishes to work with the Ministry closely to share Israel's experience on how it successfully contained this pandemic.
