It is govt responsibility to grant citizenship to people: JSP Chairman Yadav

KATHMANDU, March 27: Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal Upendra Yadav has said that it is the responsibility of the government to give citizenship certificates to its citizens.

KATHMANDU, March 27: Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal Upendra Yadav has said that it is the responsibility of the government to give citizenship certificates to its citizens. 


Speaking at a party induction program in Krishnanagar of Kapilvastu, Chairman Yadav said that some people of Madhesh are still deprived of citizenship certificates.

Chairperson Yadav said that despite the large population in Terai, the representation of its citizens in various government bodies is still low. He said that the government should give priority and invest to help uplift the living standards of people belonging to backward communities.


Also speaking on the occasion, Coordinator of the JSP Disciplinary Commission Narasimha Chaudhary, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development of Lumbini Province Sahasram Yadav and Province Committee President Ashok Yadav urged the party members to help the party to win the upcoming election.
