KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said that many industries should be run to boost the country's economy.
Inaugurating the 14th Godavari Flower Exhibition 2021 on Friday, Finance Minister Sharma said that many industries should be operated for economic growth. He said that the government encourages various industries and agriculture to strengthen the country's economy.
Finance minister willing to help local entrepreneurs
Minister Sharma urged all those who work in different fields to think of becoming self-reliant in their respective fields.
Stating that flower farming has been growing in Nepal, Minister Sharma said that the flower business would boost the economy of the country and the revenue raised from the sweat of the people would be spent for the benefit of the people. “Nepal should be self-sufficient in flowers by next year,” he said.
On the occasion, Minister Sharma also said that the government has put forward a plan to build 12 parks in the Kathmandu Valley.
