It is not appropriate for coalition partners to object to govt proposal: Sharma

KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has urged the ruling CPN (Maoist Center) and the CPN (Unified Socialist) not to show their double standards.


Arguing that the alliance of different political parties was formed for the immediate political solution and to safeguard the constitution, Sharma argued that parties should now come together also on the issue of prosperity and development.

General Secretary Sharma said that the alliance would be formed as a partner in power but it would not be appropriate to oppose the government's proposal. He also clarified that the Nepali Congress will not wait for an alliance in case an environment is created where the ruling party and the opposition can come together and find a way out in the larger interest of people and the country.
