KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that it is the responsibility of the state to create an environment where talent can be utilized in the country and society by getting higher education easily and conveniently at the 47th Convocation ceremony of Tribhuvan University on Monday.
He expressed the government’s belief that not only those with higher economic status should have access to higher education but rather it should be accessible by everyone for the betterment of the nation and positive change of the society as a whole.

Furthermore, PM Deuba said that the university needs to move ahead with age-appropriate education and managerial reforms in today's competitive global educational market. He stressed on the need for the university to produce scientific and technical manpower suitable for the creative and promising era in order to strengthen the democratic system of the country and rapidly transform the economy of the country.
Prime Minister Deuba said that the university should continue to expand its work related to student welfare and upgrade itself in collaboration with other prestigious universities of the world.
