It’s never too late

In this journey called life, we go through various situations, times and circumstances. We hardly embrace the glorious mess that we are. We barely think about the strength that we have had during the most difficult times in our lives. We need to remember that life’s great lessons are usually learnt at the worst times and with the worst mistakes. We are so busy in our everyday schedule that we do not have the time to recap the way we have spent the number of years of our life. When we start summing up the timeline, we are able to connect the dots and realize that everything that has happened in our life has happened for a reason.

If we start analyzing, there would be times when we would want things to be different or it could be that we are very happy on the milestone that we are on. People who fall on the latter category are a few while the ones on the first are many. If not entirely, there could be one or the other area which we think could be done in a better way, with the right decisions in the past. The beauty of being in the former thought is that there has been lot of learning in the process which has resulted in knowing what we are exactly looking for. Understanding and finding out one’s dream is the most difficult bit.

Our dreams keep changing as we grow older and that’s perfectly fine. But just because our dreams keep changing doesn’t mean we stop dreaming in any phase of our life. Many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then after a little effort they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become possible. Having a dream is important, and making that dream a reality is significant, but not as major as figuring it out.

We need to believe that we are our own master and that we are the ones who have the key to our happiness. There is never a one-way street that we get into and never gets out. There is always a U-turn somewhere and we are never trapped in any state. Life is never too short for us to choose another path. It is never too late to turn over a new leaf. This rule is one the most important part in our lives which keeps us moving.

We should stop ourselves from procrastinating and let our dreams and willpower to take the front seat for once. The day we learn the importance of discovering our quest, half of our mission is accomplished, the other half will be achieved once we put in necessary effort. Remember we are never too old to dream a new dream!
