Janamat Party forms a 216-member central committee, Dr Sharad Singh Yadav picked as party’s spokesperson

KATHMANDU, July 14: The Janamat Party has expanded its central committee. A secretariat meeting of the party presided over by its Chairman Dr CK Raut expanded the central committee on Friday.

KATHMANDU, July 14: The Janamat Party has expanded its central committee. A secretariat meeting of the party presided over by its Chairman Dr CK Raut expanded the central committee on Friday. 


The party's Treasurer Surendra Narayan Yadav said that the meeting decided to form a 17-member Secretariat, 39-member Executive Committee, 14-member Political Committee and a 216-member Central Committee.

According to him, most of the members in the Central Committee are new. Some of the members in the Central Committee have been entrusted with the responsibility of Secretariat members. 


The party said that the 216-member central committee has been formed for now though it has to be of 351-member according to the party statute. 


Likewise, Dr Sharad Singh Yadav has been designated the party’s spokesperson.
