KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Japanese Ambassador Kikuta Yutaka has said that Japanese entrepreneurs are willing to invest in Nepal's tourism sector.


Addressing an interaction organized by the Nepal Tourism Board in the capital on Friday, Ambassador Yutaka said that Japanese investors will invest in Nepal's tourism sector if the government in Nepal eased its legal process.

“Nepal is a beautiful country. Japanese nationals like to visit Nepal. Japanese investors are also willing to invest in Nepal's tourism sector. Last year, a meeting held by the high officials of various companies helped to understand more about Nepal,” Ambassador Yutaka said.


Representatives of various Japanese companies also participated in the interaction. In 2023, 16,463 Japanese tourists visited Nepal.
