JCB expands presence in Nepal with enhanced warranty and training support

KATHMANDU, April 17: JCB, the global leader in Earthmoving and Construction equipment, has reaffirmed its commitment to the Nepali market through its dealer, MAW Earthmovers.

KATHMANDU, April 17: JCB, the global leader in Earthmoving and Construction equipment, has reaffirmed its commitment to the Nepali market through its dealer, MAW Earthmovers. JCB India has introduced an extended warranty scheme of up to 5 years or 10,000 hours for select Tracked Excavators.


MAW Earthmovers, with over two decades of partnership with JCB, operates 32 outlets across Nepal and plans to inaugurate its fourth Operator Training Centre in Chitwan soon. These centers have trained nearly 5,000 operators on the safe and productive use of JCB machines.

During his visit, JCB India’s CEO and Managing Director, Deepak Shetty, emphasized Nepal's importance in the South Asia region. He expressed JCB's enthusiasm for supporting the country's infrastructure growth and highlighted the company's commitment to introducing technologically advanced products tailored for the Nepali market.


JCB's presence in Nepal includes a fleet of over 10,500 machines, including Backhoe Loaders, Excavators, and Telehandlers. These machines are supported by an extensive service network, equipped with advanced telematics technology, JCB Livelink, providing real-time information on machine service, operations, and security.


Shetty also presented the keys of a Telehandler to Tenfel Nirman Seva for the construction of the Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery in Humla, thanking Tsepal Lama for his association with JCB.


Vishnu Agarwal, Dealer Principal for MAW Earthmovers, highlighted the company's commitment to not only providing world-class JCB products but also creating employment opportunities for Nepali youth. With close to 500 employees, MAW Earthmovers has invested in three state-of-the-art operator training institutes, fostering skill development and safety in machine operations.
