Jewellery worth IRs 5.3 million was reported stolen from Bollywood actor Amir Khan’s house belonging to his wife Kiran Rao.

Jewellery worth IRs 5.3 million was reported stolen from Bollywood actor Amir Khan’s house belonging to his wife Kiran Rao.


According to details, a First Information Report was filed by a relative of Amir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao at the Khar police station. The Bollywood powerhouse couple resides in an apartment located at Carter Road.

As per the report filed with the police, Kiran Rao discovered a necklace and a diamond ring missing from her bedroom upon which Rao’s relative registered a case with the police. Officially, police refused to comment on the situation and neither did the Indian filmmaker. However, a source within the police confirmed the news to an Indian website.


According to the source, the prime suspects under investigation by the police are the domestic help which consists of the cook Farzana, Rao’s assistant Suzanna and domestic help Jhumki.


The official also confirmed that police were questioning the three suspects every day, from early morning to late evening.
