WASHINGTON D.C., Aug 17: Amber Heard has finally dropped her domestic abuse allegations against Johnny Depp, settling for a seven million dollars out-of-court divorce settlement instead.

The two filed legal documents on August 16 in which the 30-year-old actress withdrew her request for a restraining order, reports TMZ.com.

Heard dismissed the case, where she alleged that the 'Black Mass' actor brutalised her on May 21, meaning she can never re-file it.

Depp's lawyers, Laura Wasser and Blair Berk, along with Heard's lawyers, Pierce O'Donnell and Samantha Spector, crafted this settlement after she was grilled last week during a deposition.

The former couple released a joint statement, saying, "Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love."

"Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity" it added.
