Joint meeting of  Federal Parliament to be held on May 14, President to address the meeting

KATHMANDU, May 11: A joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament will be held next Tuesday, May 10. According to the notice issued by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly will be held.

KATHMANDU, May 11: A joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament will be held next Tuesday, May 10. According to the notice issued by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly will be held.


According to the notification of the Parliament Secretariat, President Ram Chandra Paudel has summoned the members of the lower house of the Federal Parliament to attend at 3:00PM on Tuesday afternoon for an address in accordance with Article 95 of the Constitution on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

All Members of Parliament have been instructed to arrive in formal attire by 2:45 PM on that day.


The government is expected to present the policies and programs for the upcoming year during President Paudel's address. However, the notice does not disclose details regarding the policy and program presentation.
