KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Journalist Mamata Thapa has been honored with the Dr Harihardev Pant Economic Journalism Award.

The award was presented to Thapa on the occasion of the sixth memorial day of Dr Harihardev Pant. The award, established by the Harihardev Pant Foundation, honored Thapa amidst a special function held on Monday.
The award was established in the memory of Harihardev Pant. The Foundation has been giving a prize to the best economic journalist or association or organization every year. The prize carries a purse of Rs 50,000.
