JSP’S Ashok Rai leads by 218 votes in Sunsari-1

DHARAN, Nov 27: Janta Samajwadi Party (JSP)’s candidate Ashok Kumar Rai has taken the lead in Sunsari-1.

DHARAN, Nov 27: Janta Samajwadi Party (JSP)’s candidate Ashok Kumar Rai has taken the lead in Sunsari-1.


According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer, Dharan, JSP candidate Rai has taken the lead of 218 votes as of 3 PM Sunday. Rai has obtained 14,426 votes out of 68,412 votes counted so far. Goma Tamang, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, is trailing behind him with 14,208 votes.

Muksamahang Menyangbo of the CPN (Maoist Center) is third with 11,266 votes while an independent candidate Manoj Kumar Menyangbo has secured 7,036 votes.
