Kamana Cine Magazine under the collaboration with CG entertainment organized the celeb studded event ‘Kamana Film Award 2076’ on Saturday at Heritage Garden, Lalitpur.
Artists like Deepa Shree Niraula, Pooja Sharma, Gaurav Pahari, Neer Shah, Karishma Manandhar, Mithila Sharma among others were present in the event. Altogether, the awards were given in 30 different categories, which concluded with much fanfare.

When it comes to K-Town industry, Kamana Award is taken as one of the recognized award functions. This year, two major awards were added to this ceremony— Bharat Lal Humanatrian Award and Puskar Media Award; as a tribute to the founder of Kamana News Publication; Bharat Lal Shrestha and Chief Editor of Kamana News Publication; Puskar Lal Shrestha.
Bharat Lal Humanatrian Award, which is a felicitation for social activists, was handed to a Pokhara based social worker Lion Sonam Sangpo, along with a cash prize worth Rs 100,000. Similarly, Puskar Media Award dedicated to felicitate people who have contributed in journalism field, was awarded to President and Managing Director of Image Group of Company; Ram Krishna Manandhar with a cash prize of Rs 100,000. These two awards were handed jointly by Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Bidya Sundar Shakya; Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan; and Mayor of Kirtipur Municipality Ramesh Maharjan.
Moreover, various musical and dance performances by Mithila Sharma, Gauri Malla, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pal Shah, and Pooja Sharma added energy to the charismatic event.
