Similarly, Lamichhane picked up two wickets of Pakistan’s Umar Akmal and United States’ Sunny Sohail, conceding 34 runs off his four overs.

Both Nationals and Hawks featured in the eliminator match after finishing third and fourth respectively on the group table. Hawks advanced to second qualifier and faces Brampton Wolves on Saturday. Wolves had lost to Vancouver Knights in the first qualifier match played earlier in the day.

The winner of the second qualifier match will face Knights in the final on Sunday.

Kami was picked by Hawks for Rs 300,000 in a draft pick for the Global T20 Canada held back in June. He became second Nepali cricketer ever to be picked for any international T20 league after Sandeep Lamichhane, who was also roped in for Rs 6 million by Nationals.
