KATHMANDU, June 21: The District Administration Office (DAO) Kathmandu has made separate arrangements to register details of national identity cards only for beneficiaries with permanent addresses in the district.
Assistant Chief District Officer Rabindra Prasad Acharya said that the place for registering the details of the citizens of the outer districts was also designated at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu. Now, a separate place has been designated for the registration of national identity card details for the service users with permanent addresses outside Kathmandu.

The Kathmandu administration has also requested all concerned to go to the respective locations and fill the details as prescribed by the Department of National ID and Civil Registration (DoNIDCR). He said that the Department has designated two different locations for citizens outside Kathmandu.
Beneficiaries of Dhanusha and Parsa of Madhes province have to register details at the premises of Narayanhiti Palace Museum. Similarly, Assistant CDO Acharya said that citizens of all districts of Bagmati Province except Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur can fill the details in the City Hall. Earlier, the citizens of those areas were registering details from the Kathmandu administration.
For the identity card, a copy of the citizenship certificate, immigration certificate, marriage registration certificate in the case of a married person (a copy of the marriage certificate) is required.
