KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Kathmandu Marriott Hotel has won the ‘Best Luxury Hotel Nepal’ award from the International Hotel Awards for 2020-2021. Issuing a statement, the hotel said that it recently bagged the acclaimed industry award by International Hotel Awards from the Asia Pacific region.
“As we all know, the pandemic has taken its toll on the tourism industry, and winning this award will definitely encourage us as a team to strive for better and raise the benchmark of hospitality in the region,” the statement quoted Jean Louis Ripoche, General Manager of Kathmandu Marriott, as saying.
Kathmandu Marriott Hotel bags five awards
Kathmandu Marriott Hotel was also conferred with the Nepal’s ‘Best Employer Brand Awards 2019, ‘Best Hotel Launch of the Year, ‘Best Bar (Raksi), Best Event Venue and the Most Preferred Spa of 2019’, according to the hotel. It was also selected for Trip Advisor’s ‘Traveler’s Choice Awards’ in 2020.
