KATHMANDU, June 6: The newly-elected Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City(KMC) Balendra Shah has met CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
In the meeting, Chairperson Dahal praised Mayor Shah saying that he has started his work by integrating and co-operating with everyone. “Your victory itself is a revolution,” Dahal said.

“Former mayors and independent candidates had a system of aligning with one party and abusing the other party. However, you have started the work by cooperating with everyone. We will always support you as your work is praise worthy.”
Earlier, Mayor Shah had met with Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
