The Korean government through KOICA will spend US$ 10 million for this project of 8 years.

Through this project, KOICA aims to strengthen research and development capacity of Nepal by establishing KU as a strong Research and Development platform for researchers and scientists of Nepal. KOICA and KU will jointly work for improving quality of life and income status of people in rural communities in Nepal through technology promotion.
