Though the concerned authorities from both sides agreed to organize the fair once each in Nepali territory and the Tibet area, the fair this year has been organized twice in Tibet itself.

Locals purchase essential goods from the fair and stock them for a year in the region. Bista added that the fair is organized in Mid-June and Mid-August.

The local traders and people purchase daily consumables, food grains, beer, juice, clothes, and construction materials including cement, wood, zinc sheet, solar panel, and electronic items among others in the fair. The fair usually runs for two weeks. RSS
